Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria
What is rejection sensitive dysphoria?
Rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD) is an extreme emotional sensitivity and pain triggered by the perception that a person has been rejected or criticized by important people in their life. It is associated with conditions like attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and borderline personality disorder. Individuals with RSD may be prone to feelings of anxiety, low self-esteem, and even depression when they feel that they have been rejected or criticized.
