  1. Clarify what you want the AI to do with great specificity.
    1. Should it assume a persona, like an email marketer, or a life coach, or a lawyer?
    2. Do you want it to have likes/dislikes, tendencies, etc?
    3. How much detail should it provide?
    4. What are its constraints? What should it do? What should it NOT do?
    5. Should it produce a table? A document? A bulleted list? A letter?
  2. Tell the AI exactly what you want in plain English, like you’re typing to a friend. Don’t overthink.
  3. Examine the output; decide what you like and what you want more of.
  4. Prompt again, iteratively, until you get the desired result.
